ECG @ Horizon
In Horizon Primary School, students are given opportunities to learn about educational pathways beyond primary schools. This is done through various platforms:
SkillsFuture Portal Lessons
During these lessons, students explore the portal to find out about educational pathways available. With this information, students can better decide on the paths they want to pursue.
Booths manned by student representatives of different secondary schools to showcase their schools’ events and programmes are put up to provide students with enriching experiences to find out more about their next phase in their educational pathway.
Junior Career Programme
Primary 6 students visit Kidzania where they can have a hands-on experience on different careers commonly available in a community. Students also have opportunities to be engaged with invited speakers and professionals who share their experiences with the students.
Horizon Family Day
Horizon Family Day is a special collaboration between parents from the Parents-Connect! and the school. Students were able to explore various careers in a realistic role-play themed Horizon Family Days in 2017 and 2018.
